PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Family occupied single dwelling. Maximising hill-top site overlooking Auckland. Timber and concrete frame. Referencing features from the early settlements in the locality that included stone walls and landscaped terracing, the house stretches along the ridge, with strong horizontal lines and terraced gardens, enabling every room to face the western views. The design incorporates multiple natural façade materials and extensive landscaping to blend the dwelling into the ridgeline.
